February Hangover in March

What happened in February anyway? You may have spent some time getting things cleaned up and organized after the full moon in Virgo toward the end of the month. Focusing more on the details of life is a welcome relief from the momentous entry of Pluto into Aquarius toward the end of January. Anyone with planets or points in early Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio is feeling the effects. If your Sun, Moon, or Ascendant is in Aquarius, a feeling of being unsettled, undercut, or challenged in your life purpose, emotional center, or persona is indicated. Scorpios may find work and careers undermined. For Taurus, pressures and changes in the home and what is owned, construction, restructuring, or a move. And for points in Leo, one may wonder who keeps pulling the rug out from under as they try over and over to re-establish their comfortable place at the center of things. This entry of Pluto in Aquarius was further energized with transiting Mercury, Mars, and Venus joining the lord of the underworld for a few days, reminding you of what you value most as the pull of karma (symbolized by the seeds of the pomegranate) provides a needed look back. Don't get pulled in too deep...about to leave the underworld Persephone looked back, dooming humanity to suffer Winter each year.

With so much February baggage, we enter March with Saturn, the planet of structure and authority about a third of the way into Pisces, the sign of reality-bending creative dream, and final redemption. Expect old structures and authority figures, weakened by decades of Pluto in the Saturn-ruled sign of Capricorn (remember the financial crisis that occurred when Pluto entered Capricorn), to finally dissolve into a solvent puddle when exposed to these soul-cleansing waters. Each of us has Pisces somewhere in our charts, and this placement indicates how and where we participate in the overlapping reality dreams that make up our collective experience. The flip side of Saturn's transit through Pisces will be manifest in a need to pinch ourselves hard, wake from our collective dreams, or participation mystique with the myths we live by, and find or establish our boundaries. The tests provided during Saturn's transit of Pisces will prepare us for Saturn joining Neptune, the planet of sensitivity to the collective or group psyche, when it enters Aries around the Spring Equinox in 2025. Saturn is in its Fall in Aries, which is another way of saying Saturn comes to Earth in Aries, giving form and structure to how we will take direction toward our collective future. Can we work together, is the question. That we are in this together is being established during in this next year.
